GreenhouseOS received second place and a USD 2,000 award at the 2026 agricultural innovation competition.
Elevaid has won second place at Sevan AgriThon 2026 for GreenhouseOS, its AI-powered operating system for greenhouse production.
The result was announced during the Sevan AgriTech Summit, held as part of Seaside Startup Summit Armenia 2026. Elevaid received a USD 2,000 award after presenting GreenhouseOS alongside other agritech solutions developed to address practical challenges facing agriculture.
The recognition marks an important milestone for Elevaid as GreenhouseOS moves from product development into its first commercial greenhouse deployments.
At the AgriThon, Elevaid presented its vision for making intelligent greenhouse management more accessible to growers.
Many greenhouse operators already use sensors, controllers and irrigation equipment. However, the information produced by these systems is often fragmented, difficult to interpret or dependent on continuous manual monitoring.
GreenhouseOS is designed to connect this existing equipment through one intelligent operating layer. It brings together greenhouse climate, irrigation, fertigation, weather and crop information to help growers understand what is happening, identify risks earlier and make clearer operational decisions.

The system is particularly focused on low- and mid-technology greenhouses that need more advanced decision support without the cost and disruption of replacing their existing infrastructure.
Sevan AgriThon combined an agritech startup competition with a two-month incubation programme.
The programme provided participating teams with mentorship, capacity-building workshops and support to refine their business models, solutions and pitches. It concluded with the AgriThon finals during the Sevan AgriTech Summit.
The competition focused on areas such as precision agriculture, smart farming, climate-smart production, agricultural resource efficiency and digital transformation.
Participating in the programme gave Elevaid an opportunity to present GreenhouseOS to agricultural experts, entrepreneurs, investors and representatives of organisations working to advance agricultural innovation in Armenia.
It also provided another setting in which to communicate the problem GreenhouseOS addresses: growers may have greenhouse equipment and operational experience, but they do not always have the integrated information and specialised support needed to use these resources as effectively as possible.
GreenhouseOS is not being developed as a separate system that requires growers to rebuild their greenhouses around new technology. Its purpose is to work with the greenhouse, equipment and production practices already in place.

The award supports Elevaid’s continued work to develop, test and deploy GreenhouseOS under real production conditions.
The AgriThon result comes as Elevaid begins its first commercial GreenhouseOS deployments in Armenia.
The next stage of development is centred on working directly with greenhouse owners, agronomists and technical partners. Each deployment will involve assessing the greenhouse’s existing infrastructure, connecting available sensors and equipment, configuring the platform and testing it under actual operating conditions.
These deployments will help Elevaid improve the system’s integrations, recommendations and control capabilities while building evidence of how GreenhouseOS can contribute to more stable production and more efficient use of water, energy and other inputs.
Feedback from growers will remain central to this process. Every greenhouse differs in its crop, structure, equipment, climate and management practices. GreenhouseOS must therefore be adaptable enough to support these differences while remaining clear and practical for the people who use it.
